Workshop on ‘Access to Information’ held

A 5-day long workshop on Civic services evolving under titled Access to Information programs was held at auditorium of Eastern Cables Ltd, Chittagong on Saturday arranged jointly by Cabinet Division of Govt of Bangladesh & ATI ( Access To Information) programmess as conducted by the Prime Minister’s office aimed at extending civic facilities among the organizations under Banglades Steel & Engineering Corporation(BSEC) .
Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Industry Md. Enamul Hoque graced the occasion as chief guest duly presided by Acting Chairman of BSEC Begum, Seema Shaha, Secretary of BSEC Dr Md Amiruzzaman, Managing Director of BSEC Engr Ushamoy Chakma were present in it as special guests. All Manager of the subsidiary organizations of BSEC , Additional Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Md. Sabet Ali also spoke on the occasion.
Among others, Course coordinator Mdc Moniruzzaman Khan, Additional Chief Medical officer Md Golam Kabir, Deputy Chief Engineer Md. Sabbir Awal head of purchase deptt. Mostafizur Rahman, Admin officer Md. Abu Sayeed were present in it.
In the training works hop, 24 officials o f different organizations under BSEC participated the workshop, a BSEC sources said.
The chief guest in his brief deliverations emphasized the need of training workshop to build new horizons in creating new fields. Chair of the workshop in her concluding speech thanked all participants and invited guests, sources said.
