Cellular Phone Operator Robi on Thursday organised a workshop for amateur photographers of the country aiming to improve their talent.
The workshop, held at a studio in city’s Niketon, Gulshan, was designed for the top 40 contestants from the Robi Photo School Competition titled “Group Selfie Photography Contest with Renowned Photographer Prito Reza”, said a Robi press release. During the hour-long workshop with Prito Reza, who was also the contest judge, participants learnt basic skills of Selfie Photography and other related skills. After the workshop, the winners of the competition were announced in two categories-
Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice categories.
Prito Reza selected the winner in the Judge’s Choice category while Robi Facebook fan page users’ elected the winner in the People’s Choice category.
The winner in Judge’s Choice category was awarded a Samsung S4 mini while the winner and runners up in the People’s Choice category were awarded a Nokia Lumia 925 and Nokia Lunia 920 respectively.
The prize giving ceremony was held at 4 pm, immediately after the workshop. Toffael Rashid, Executive Vice President of Robi Brand and Marketing and Prito Reza were present on the occasion.
