Kahaani director Sujoy Ghosh’s Bengali short film Ahalya gave actress Radhika Apte the opportunity to work with veteran Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee, which she described as a ‘fangirl moment.’“I’ve been his (Chatterjee) fan since my college days, when I saw his films at a Satyajit Ray film festival. Since then, I’ve always been in awe and never thought that I’ll be able to work with him,” Radhika said.“I got the opportunity a couple of years ago to work with him in a Bengali film. I thought that was my one and only opportunity. But this time (Ahalya), we were friends since we already knew each other having worked together. And I wasn’t nervous at all. So it was a fangirl moment for me,” she said at a special screening of Masaan.
