The national adaptation plan for climate would be implemented in a coordinated manner. We will be successful in implementing the Climate Adaptation Plan if we all work sincerely together.
Planning Minister M.A. Mannan said this while addressing a discussion meeting on ‘Inclusion of National Adaptation Plan in Development Planning, Project Preparation and Implementation Process’ organized by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at Hotel Intercontinental on Sunday.
He said the people of Bangladesh have been accustomed to adaptation for a long time. Therefore, if we all work sincerely together, we will be successful in implementing the Climate Adaptation Plan. He further said that the Ministry of Planning would take all necessary steps to increase the use of eco-friendly block bricks instead of burnt bricks. To this end, coordination will be made with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and other agencies.
