Mymensingh City Corporation(MCC) Mayor Md. Ikramul Haque Titu has said Mymensingh city infrastructure will undergo a radical change if the ongoing developing works in the city are implemented in this project. He was inaugurated the construction work of RCC Road with one RCC drain in Mymensingh City Corporation (MCC) at 11 No Ward on Saturday at a cost of around Tk 5 cr.
The road with the drain will be constructed from Gorurkhuarmur to Fulbaria Road through Naomahal Government Primary School with a length of 790 meters. The mayor further said that Tk 20 crore has been allocated for the development of 11 wards. If these works, there will be no more problems in this ward. Among others, Farhad Alam, Councilor of Ward 11, Rokshana Shirin, Councilor of reserved seats of Ward 10, 11, 12, Md. Zahurul Haque, Executive Engineer, Adv RashedaTahmina, General Secretary of Mymensingh Metropolitan Women’s League, Assistant Engineer Jeevan Krishna Biswas were present during the inauguration.
After the inauguration, the mayor distributed 500 blankets among the distressed and helpless people of 11th ward.
