The agitated workers of Amin Jute Mills enforced siege program in front of the mills at Muradpur-Oxygen road under Baizid thana area in city to press home their demands on Thursday. Police sources said the workers launched the siege demanding their arrear salary and allowances.
The workers of the nationalised Amin Jute mills enforced action program at 2.30 pm and the law enforcers immediately controlled the situation and police is monitorying the situation, sources said. A contingent of CMPpolice was deployed in mills area, sources added.
