The Workers’ Party of Bangladesh, a component of the ruling Grand Alliance government, in a meeting of its Politburo called upon the government to ban the Jamaat-e-Islami and continue the government’s non-communal democratic politics and end all undesirable militant activities.
It also condemned Pakistan’s undue interference in the internal affairs of Bangladesh by openly supporting war criminals like Ali Ahsan Mujahid and Salauddin Quader Chowdhury.
