Two construction workers were killed after being electrocuted while working in Nangalkot upazila on Wednesday noon.
The deceased were identified as Masum, 20, son of Masuk, and Sabuj, 25, son of Ataur Rahman of Baniachang village.
Locals said the workers were working at Nuru Miaji Mosque around 2pm when they came in contact with a live wire. They were taken to Upazila Health Complex where doctors pronounced them dead, said local Union Parishad member Mahfuzul Alam.
Md Nazrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Nangalkot Police Station, said they would take legal measures after receiving a written complaint.
