UNB, Narsingdi :
A construction worker was killed and two others were injured as a portion of a wall in an under-construction
building collapsed on them in Paschim Brahmandi area of the district town on Tuesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Sabuj, 30, a resident of Birpur area in the town.
Witnesses said, a chunk of wall fell on a group of workers around 1pm when they were working at the under-construction building of Nuruddin Mollah, leaving three of them injured.
The injured were taken to Narsingdi General
Hospital where doctors referred Sabuj to Dhaka as his condition was critical. However, he died on the way to the capital.
Sub-inspector of Narsingdi Sadar Police Station Mofizur Rahman confirmed the accident.
