State Minister for Culture KM Khalid has said that efforts are being made to transform Muktagachha Municipality into a modern, enlightened, model and digital Muktagachha Municipality. He was speaking as the chief guest and inaugurating the Muktagachha Municipality Digital Number Plate Installation Project on Wednesday at the municipality’s general library auditorium as part of digitalization of all citizen services.
He further said that in order to build Muktagachha municipality as a model municipality, all the citizens should be given the opportunity to receive services by paying 100 per cent money to the municipality.
Md. Yunus Ali Municipality Secretary presided over the function. Muktagachha Municipality Mayor Billal Hossain Sarkar, District Awami League Vice-President and PP Ed. of Women and Children Court inaugurated as special guests. Badr Uddin Ahmed, senior vice-president of Awami League, freedom fighter Azizul Haque Idu, acting upazila chairman Arab Ali also spoke.
