Bridge over Moragangi Khal will create communication opportunity of thousand commuters under Dupchanchia upazila of Bogra district as construction work of much awaited Bridge is progressing fast.
Mayor emphasizes urgent completion for making easy way of the thousand commuters. Having completed, the bridge will provide the opportunity for all walks of people including school, college and madrasha going students local expressed.
Commuters demand thousand of common people have been suffering a lot in sadar union, a commercially busy place in Dupchanchia municipality, for absence of a bridge over the Moragangi Khal on Shahartoly-Pilot High school road. People, including school and college students, employees of different government and non-government offices, businessmen and patients have to cross the Khal taking life risk and danger as bamboo made temporary bridge may collapse any time, they added.
President of Dupchanchia press club Golam Faruq said, People of Sarderpara, Sukhangai, Mondalpar, Moholderpara, Hindupara, Chalksukhangari and Choudhuripara villages under sadar union of Dupchanchia upazila and a part of Kahaloo upazila have to depend on Shahrtoly-Pilot High school road for communication. Beside, bicycles, motorcycles, push carts and vans does also seen crossing the khal fear collapsing of the fable and week bamboo made bridge, he added.
A guardian of Dupchanchia model government primary school, stood fist among the country, said, our children were suffering much while they were going to school over the bamboo bridge due to absence of the bridge but, we are very much optimistic an easy movement of the children. Mayor has taken an enterprise to construct the bridge from on capital of municipality to elevate the woe of the thousand common people, he demands.
Headmaster of Model school said to NN , over 1000-1200 students are studying in these institutions have to face risk while going to their institutions through the river and vegetable growers and farmers cannot get profit from sale of their goods because of the poor communication system. Mayor is trying to finish the work of the bridge rapidly, he added.

When contracted municipality mayor Belal Hossain said, considering the untold suffering of the common people of the area he has taken initiative to construct the bridge over the khal costing TK. around 5 million from the own cash of municipality. After inauguration of construction by deputy commissioner Asraf Uddin, the work is progressing fast as we are monitoring round the clock, he added.
