Local Government, Rural Development and Co-Operatives (LGRD) Minister Md Tajul Islam said the construction work of historic Mujibnagar-Kolkata “Swadhinata Sarak” will be completed by first week of March.
The minister said this on Thursday while presiding over the first meeting of an inter-ministerial sub-committee on ‘Golden Jubilee of the War of Liberation’ at the conference room of Local Government Department here.
LGRD Minister Tajul Islam said the government has decided to construct the historic Swadhinata Sarak connecting Mujibnagar in Bangladesh’s Meherpur to India’s Nadia district for enriching the history, heritage of the War of Liberation and Mujibnagar government.
