The women’s volleyball referees’ training course began at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city’s Dhanmondi on Friday. Bangladesh Women Sports Federation has arranged the training course.
Chairperson of Bangladesh Women Sports Federation Mahabub Ara Begum Gini, MP, inaugurated the training course at 10.00 am. General Secretary of Bangladesh Women Sports Federation Hamida Begum and members of the Executive Committee of the Federation were present at the time.
A total of 20 participants including physical teachers of different schools and colleges and former players are taking part in the course.
President of Volleyball Referees Committee Md Monirul Haque, Vice-President of Volleyball Referees Committee Md Shahidul Islam, General Secretary of Volleyball Referees Committee Md Fazlul Haque are conducting the course. The course will come to an end on May 15.
