The Dhaka Divisional Women’s Sports Festival concluded on Saturday at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex.
Some 200 women from four zones — Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Faridpur and Dhaka – of Dhaka division — took part in the two-day meet, organised by Dhaka Divisional Women’s Sports Association.
On the second day of the competition, Jamalpur district emerged champions in the Kabaddi event with 21 points while Gazipur finished runners-up with 14 points.
In the day’s volleyball event, Faridpur district emerged champions beating Jamalpur district by 3-1 sets.
