Jamalpur DSA emerged as the zonal champions to reach the final round of the Marcel LED Television Inter-district Women’s Kabaddi Tournament.
Hosts Jamalpur DSA defeated Tangail DSA by 15-3 points with one lona in the first match and beat Gazipur DSA by 17-6 points with two creditable lonas in the 2nd match in Jamalpur on Tuesday to earn a position in the final round.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Jamalpur M Shahabuddin Khan inaugurated the meet as the chief guest and later he distributed the prizes. Proprietor of the meet’s sponsor Marcel LED Television Amanullah Akash and General Secretary of Jamalpur DSA Abdullah Al Fuad Ridwan were also present.
