The women’s handball referees’ course was concluded at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city’s Dhanmondi on Thursday.
Director (Sports) of Sports Directorate Md Shah Alam distributed the certificates among the participants as the chief guest.
Senior Vice-Chairperson of Bangladesh Women Sports Federation Anjuman Ara Aksir presided over the concluding ceremony. General Secretary of Bangladesh Women Sports Hamida Begum and the members of the executive committee of the Federation were present on the occasion.
A total of 18 participants took part in the five-day long training course. Assistant General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation SM Khalequzzaman Shawpon and Vice-President of Bangladesh Handball Referees Association Md Didar Hossain conducted the training course.
