The Treat Women’s College Handball Tournament begins at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on September 26.
Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) will arrange the handball competition under auspices of PRAN RFL.
To mark the upcoming handball competition, a press conference was held at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium of Bangladesh Olympic Association Bhaban on Thursday. General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Chairman of the Tournament Committee Quamrun Nahar Dana, Secretary of the Tournament Committee Md Nurul Islam, Brand Manager of PRAN RFL Shakhawat Ahmmed Shaki, Assistant Brand Manager of PRAN Confectionary Faraz Hossain Rumman were present at the conference.
A total of 13 teams splitting into four groups will compete in the tournament.
The budget of the tournament has been estimated at Taka five lakh and fifty thousand while PRAN RFL has given Taka five lakh to BHF and BHF will provide rest of the money.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder will inaugurate the handball competition as the chief guest while Brand Manager of PRAN RFL Shakhawat Ahmmed Shaki will be with him as the special guest.
