Woman FIDE Master (WFM) Nazrana Khan Eva moved to the top slot in the points table securing 4.5 points after 5th round of games in the Preliminary Phase of the Elegant 36th National Women Chess Championship organised by Bangladesh Chess Federation at its hallroom.
In the 5th round games on Monday– Eva drew with Zakia, Shimmi drew with Runu, Protiva beat Sumaiya Khondoker, Tonima drew with Evana, Annie drew with Zisha, Fahmida drew with Munia, Noshin drew with Aaheele while Jhorna beat Zinia, Jannatul defeated Walijah and Nazmin outplayed Nafisa.
Four players– WFM Zakia Sultana , Samiha Sharmin Shimmi and
Jahanara Haque Runu and Protiva Talukder are sharing 2nd position with 4 points each.
The 6th round games will start on Tuesday 3:30 PM at the same venue.
