The Marcel Television First Open Women’s Beach Kabaddi Competition began at the Laboni Point of Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach on Friday.
DC of Cox’s Bazar Md Ali Hossain inaugurated the two-day kabaddi competition as the chief guest while Manager of Marketing Department of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation Parvez Chowdhury was with him as the special guest.
First Senior Additional Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn presided over the inaugural ceremony. General Secretary of Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association Anup Barua, AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif and Secretary of the Tournament Committee AKM Faruque were present at the time.
Azad Sporting Club made a flying start when they defeated Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association by 72-8 points in the opening match on the same day.
