One young woman has been killed and three were injured in tragic road crash at Kaistogram New Mosque area on Sylhet – Zakigonj Highway in Fulbari Union under Golapgonj Upazila in Sylhet District at 12.30 noon today.
According to eyewitnesses and Golapgonj Upazila Police Officer-in- Charge A. K M Fazlul Haque Shibli that a Sylhet – bound car (No. Dhaka Metro- Kha 11-5590) hit hard when CNG -run auto rickshaw(No. Sylhet Ta 12-4000) suddenly turned around , resulting in Eni Begum ( 20) daughter of Juru Miah of Noagram Village under Fulbari Union critically injured. She succumbed to her injuries on way to Sylhet M A G Osmani Medical College Hospital where the dead body has been kept in the morgue for autopsy.
The auto rickshaw pushed down pedestrians Jenny Akther (24) and Sumaiya Akther (6) daughters of Ataur Rahman and Tawhid Ahmed (5) S/ OTurun Miah have been injured. They have also been sent to Sylhet M A G Osmani Medical College Hospital for treatment too.
