The virtual ‘Women Entrepreneurship Congress-2020’ organized by Daffodil International University (DIU) has started on Thursday through virtual platform. The 6th President of Mauritius Aminah Gharib Fakim (2015-2016) inaugurated the Congress on a virtual platform.
Global Entrepreneurship Week Bangladesh and Female Innovators Hub are associating in the Congress. Ms. Beauty Akhter, Faculty of Daffodil International University was present as the moderator of the opening ceremony.
The Women Entrepreneurship Congress- 2020 is organized in association with Global Entrepreneurship Week Bangladesh and Female Innovators Hub which signifies a rise in growth and interest in women entrepreneurship.
Held for the first time in Bangladesh, the Congress will feature 65 speakers from around the world. At least 10,000 entrepreneurs are participating in the three-day congress.
The congress, with a theme of “Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship” is a gathering of women entrepreneurs and leaders
In her inaugural address, Aminah Gharib Fakim said that women all over the world have to go through many struggles. There is no success in women’s life without struggle. She described her experiences at the time and saying that she was born in a remote village.
Praising the women of Bangladesh, she said, the women of Bangladesh are much more militant. They are making a huge contribution to the economy of Bangladesh. She also thanked Daffodil International University for organizing such a congress.
