Women employees unsafe in Pvt offices: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Hoque on Monday said the female employees are still unsafe in private company offices.
The IGP also claimed that female police personnel are passing days in safe and well-working environment across the country.
The police chief made this disclosure in a view exchange programme among female police personnel of the Dhaka Metro and Range (Zonal) arranged by Bangladesh Police Women Network (BPWN) ahead of its 9th founding anniversary at Police Lines Playground in
Shariatpur on Monday afternoon.
He also claimed that police always stay with people as friend.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Mili Biswas presided over the programme while Police Nari Kallyan Samiti (Punak) President Shamsunnahar, Assistant Inspector General (Media and Public Relations) of Police Headquarters Saheli Ferdous and Shariatpur Police Superintendent (SP) Saifullah Al Mamun among others, were present at the event.
