Women don`t like Hillary: Trump

Politico :Women “don’t like” Hillary Clinton, and Bill Clinton is “one of the great abusers of the world,” Donald Trump proclaimed at a rally Wednesday in South Carolina, in the latest escalation of his rhetoric against the Democratic front-runner.The real estate mogul told the Hilton Head crowd that Clinton has been hitting him “really hard with the women card, OK? Really hard.” “And I had to say, OK, that’s enough. That’s enough. And we did a strong number. She’s not going to win,” Trump said, reiterating that “I love” the concept of a female president, but it “can’t be her.” Trump, who is closing out the year with a dominant lead over the rest of the GOP field, has increasingly aimed his fire at Clinton, who has solidified her own lead among Democrats. The back-and-forth has gotten especially nasty in recent days, with Trump last week telling a rally that Barack Obama “schlonged” her in the 2008 election, and Clinton firing back that Trump has a “penchant for sexism.” The real estate mogul then opened a new front by repeatedly bringing up the infidelities of Bill Clinton after the Clinton campaign announced that the former president would be hitting the campaign trail for his wife next month.Hillary Clinton is “horrible,” Trump continued. “But I’ll tell you who doesn’t like Hillary are women. Women don’t like Hillary. I see it all the time,” he proclaimed to cheers in the audience. (The latest national CNN poll found that 82 percent of female registered Democrats have a favorable opinion of Clinton, while 15 percent have an unfavorable view.)The former secretary of state is “always so theatrical” when she criticizes him, Trump observed, mimicking Clinton for saying “Mr. Trump said this and that and this.” “I shouldn’t do it. I just have to turn off the television sometimes. She just gives me a headache,” Trump said, before remarking, “Although last night I think I gave her a big headache.”I can imagine. I can imagine those discussions. But you have to hit back hard, and you can’t let ’em push you around,” Trump said. Later in his speech, Trump remarked that “the last thing [Clinton] wants in her whole life” is to face him in a general election. “This was only – I did this in like 15 minutes, what happened to them. Because the husband wants to come and she wants to accuse me of things, and the husband’s one of the great abusers of the world. Give me a break. Give me a break. Give me a break.”Wednesday’s South Carolina rally was Trump’s last scheduled campaign event of the year and capped his radical, 6-month-old run with signature flair, complete with slams on the Obama administration, another takedown of Jeb Bush, and a rather long discussion about his hair product preferences.Trump mocked the State Department’s declaration of “bringing peace” to Syria as one of its biggest achievements of the year. “The level of stupidity is incredible. I’m telling you, I used to use the word incompetent, now I just call them stupid. I went to an Ivy League school. I’m very highly educated. I know words, I have the best words, but there’s no better word than stupid,” Trump remarked. “Right? There is none. There is none. There’s no, there’s no, there’s no word like that.”He once again referred to the government’s failure to “take the oil” after toppling Saddam Hussein in Iraq, remarking that the U.S. is finally bombing after the rise of the Islamic State but is not doing enough because “Obama is afraid he’s going to pollute the atmosphere.””No, this is serious,” Trump said, as someone in the audience shouted something about a Muslim. “He talks about the carbon footprint, and yet he’ll fly a very old Air Force One, an old Boeing 747, with the old engines, you know, spewing stuff.”So, he’s got a problem with the carbon footprint. You can’t use hairspray, because hairspray is going to affect the ozone,” he continued. “I’m trying to figure out, let’s see, I’m in my room in New York City and I want to put a little spray so I that I can – right?” Trump said, pointing to his famous coif.Trump spent more time explaining why he preferred to use the spray rather than gel for his hair.”But I hear where they don’t want me to use hairspray. They want me to use the pump, because I really like better than going bing, bing, bing, and then it comes out in big globs, right, and it’s stuck in your hair and you say, oh my God, I’ve got to take a shower again. My hair’s screwed up. Right? I want to use hairspray.””I don’t think anything gets out,” Trump said of any potential emissions from his hairspray canister from his Trump Tower abode. He also laid into Bush’s campaign and super PAC for spending $59 million on trying to boost the former Florida governor’s political fortunes, remarking that Bush is “down in the grave, he’s nowhere,” mocking a recent video the Bush campaign released calling Trump a “chaos candidate.””It’s not that bad of an ad either. Look, if you’re going to do an ad, do an ad,” he continued. As he often does at these events, Trump opened by discussing his disdain for some, but not all, of the media, as well as reading through some of his more recent positive poll numbers.”I love polls. I love polls. Now, if they turn negative, I don’t like ’em. And I promise, if they turn negative, I’m not going to be talking about ’em,” he said. “In fact, I get criticized all the time: ‘You’re always talking about your polls!’ One of these guys who’s got 2, he’s at 2, I’m at 42, and one of these guys who’s at 2 said, ‘He always talks about his polls, and I don’t.’ And I wouldn’t either if I had 2. I swear, I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t do it at all.” Trump also noted that his ubiquitous “Make America Great Again” hats are “made in America,” adding that he sees many poor imitations.”It wasn’t easy to find a guy who could do those hats. You know what I’m talking about. I see so many knockoffs of my hat. Right?” he continued. “I see these things, they’re out of plastic, out of all sorts of crap. Mine are made in America, and honestly, they do a great job, but they don’t produce as many as I’d like because frankly, there’s a big – it’s amazing, those hats are amazing.”
