Business Desk :Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) has participated in the oath-taking ceremony for ‘enlightenment, against darkness at the Central Shaheed Minar with a commitment to establish equal rights for women and opportunity at all tiers and levels of society.’WE CAN Alliance to End Domestic Violence arranged the event while BWCCI expressed solidarity with the congregation by lighting candle in the first hours of March 8 on International Women’s Day.Sate Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroze Chumki was present as the chief guest.BWCCI President Sangita Ahmed, BWCCI Board of Directors along with members and secretariat staff also joined the programme.
