A 35-year-old woman was beaten to death allegedly by her brother-in-laws over land dispute at Gobargara in Doulatpur upazila of Kushtia district on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Nazma Akter, wife of Gias Uddin of the village.
Quoting local people, SK Zabid Hasan, officer-in-charge of Doulatpur Police Station, said Gias Uddin locked into an altercation with his two younger brothers-Shaheen and Tuhin over the ownership of a piece of land, reports UNB.
