A woman was crushed under the wheels of a running train at Jashore Railway Station on Thursday night.
The identity of the deceased, was Rejia Bagum 60 wife of Tofajjal Hossain a resident of Navarin bazar in Sharsa Upazila of Jashore district.
Stationmaster of Jashore Railway Station Saidul Islam said the victim got down from a Dhaka -bound train.
Rejia suddenly fell down under the train and train run over on the two legs. She was severely injured with two legs and head injury. Immediately She was taken to Jashore General Hospital, the emergency department doctor declared her dead..
Emergency physician Dr Amiya Das said she died before coming to the hospital.
