A woman was killed when a passenger bus hit her in the city’s Mohakhali Bus Stand area on Monday morning. The identity of the deceased could not be known instantly, police said.
Quoting the witnesses, Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) Police Outpost In-Charge and Sup-Inspector (SI) Mozammel Haque said that
the bus knocked the woman down when she was crossing the road around 11:00am, leaving her critically injured.
She was taken to the DMCH immediately and the doctors declared her dead at around 11:45am, the police official said.
