A woman aged about 30 died as a motorised vehicle ran over her on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highways in front of Radisson Hotel in the capital early yesterday, police and hospital sources said.
Sub Inspector Wahidul Islam of Cantonment Police Station told BSS that police recovered the blood-stained body of the woman, who was dressed in a red selwar and coloured kamij.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) at 6 on monday morning, said our medical correspondent.
Police are yet to identify the body kept at the hospital morgue. A case was lodged with the concerned police station.
