A septuagenarian woman was killed and her daughter-in-law injured in a bomb attack at Charbalrampur village of Sadar upazila on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mohirun Begum, 75, wife of Taju Pramanik, a resident of the village.
Subrata Kumar, sub-inspector of Pabna Sadar Police Station, said miscreants hurled a bomb in
their house at around 5.30am, leaving Mohiron and her daughter-in-law Reshma Khatun, 30, critically injured.
Later, they were rushed to Pabna General Hospital where Mohiron succumbed to her injuries around 9.30am.
