UNB, Benapole :
A woman was killed as her saree got entangled in a shallow water pump at Rajnagar village in Sharsha upazila of Jessore district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Halima Khatun, 40, a female peasant and wife of late Abdus Sobhan of the village.
Witnesses said Halima died on the spot when her saree got entangled in a shallow water pump as she rose after taking meal beside the crop field where she was working in the morning.
