An unidentified woman was killed after gang-raped in Nondigram upazila of Bogra district by some miscreants at around 7.00am on Monday.
Police recovered removed the body on a road at Sayedpur-Koidhala road and sent it to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. She was 30 years old.
Locals said may some miscreants killed the woman after gang rapped and they may threw on the road from speedy car of microbus.
Md. Sawkat Kabir, Inspector (Investigation) of Nondigram Police Station doubts that the woman may afloat sex worker.
May she was killed by some unidentified customers. But they are hardly trying to trace out of the victim’s identity and will be found soon, he added. A murder case was lodged with the PS in this connection, Inspector Sawkat Kabir further added.
On the other hand, another rape victim also filed a case against two young mans of her neighbors in Bogra court under section 9 ( C) of Nari O Shishu Nirzaton Ain .
Victim said on his argument that her neighbors Krisna Chandra Sarker, 30, Rafiqul Islam entered into her room at around 11.00pm on June 27 this year.
Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Sarmin Sultana Sumi is now investigating the offence by the court order.
