A mentally disabled woman was found slaughtered in Sirajganj’s Shahjadpur upazila on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Nargu Khatun, 36, daughter of Ismail Sarder, a resident of Bri Angaru village in the upazila.

The deceased was identified as Nargu Khatun, 36, daughter of Ismail Sarder, a resident of Bri Angaru village in the upazila.
Police said miscreants might have slaughtered the
woman at night and dropped the body inside her house. Locals saw the body in the morning and informed police.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Sirajganj Hospital morgue.
Shahjadpur Police Station OC Shaheed Mahmud Khan confirmed the matter.
