UNB, Jessore :
A woman was found slaughtered at Potengali village in Sadar upazila on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Parbati, 27, wife of Nirab, a resident of Mahidia village in Sadar upazila.
Azmal Huda, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said that locals spotted the body in the morning and informed police.
Later, police recovered the unidentified body and sent it to Jessore 250-Bed Hospital for an autopsy. Later, family members identified the body as Parbati.
Family members also alleged that Parbati was abducted by some miscreants from Kathgola area on Thursday night.
