Police recovered the hanging body of a woman from her residence in Gowainghat upazila of Sylhet Tuesday morning.
Deceased Sufia Begum, 45, was mentally imbalanced to some extent, locals said quoting her relatives.
The woman might have committed suicide, said Gowainghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Abdul Jalil.
The incident is being investigated, he added.
