Kotwali police on Tuesday evening recovered the body of a woman from her residence at Birampur on the outskirts of the town.
The dead was identified as Anjuman Ara Dolly, 50, wife of Abdur Rashid, an employee of the department Family Planning. Enamul Haque, officer in-charge, Kotwali police station told that being informed by the locals the police recovered the body breaking the door of her residence from the first floor in the evening. ‘Her body wore marks of torture,’ he added.
The OC also said husband of the dead has been living in Feni for employment purpose while two of her sons live in England and Greece.
