One woman drug peddler detained from city area on Tuesday night.
Kotwali thana police rounded up drug peddler Munni Begum(35) from Pathergatha area in city and recovered 400 pieces of yaba tablets from her possession. Kotwali thana Sub Inspector Kazi Masud Ibne Anowar told that acting on secret information, police conducted raid in Pathergatha Sobahania Madrasa area and rounded up her alongwith the tablets. This intoxicated tablets were kept in her vanity bag. A case under Narcotics Act filed with the concerned thana, sources said.
