A woman has been killed after she was run over by a truck in Chittagong.
The identity of the woman is currently unknown, but she appears to be about 45-years-old.
The accident occurred late on Thursday in the port city’s GEC intersection, said Khulshi Police Station Sub Inspector Bablu Kumar Pal.
The woman was wearing a reddish-pink and white cotton sari, he told bdnews24.com.
“The woman fell in front of a truck as she was crossing Zakir Hossain road, heading from GEC towards MES College. She died on the spot.”
The body has been taken to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital morgue, said SI Pal.
