Police on Friday recovered the body of a 25-year-old woman from a drum in a pond in Rajshahi’s Cityhat area. The deceased could not be identified yet.
Saiful Islam Khan, officer in-charge (OC) of Shahmakhdum Police Station, said the identity of the women could not be ascertained. Nearby police stations have been informed.
Locals informed the police as they saw a foot inside a drum in the pond near Amchattar-Kashiadanga bypass road.
