A woman on Monday filed a case against six miscreants for raping her in front of her children after abduction at gunpoint in the city. One of the accused was identified as Masum.
The victim alleged that she along with her two children – Nurul Amin and Alamin – were abducted at gunpoint by the miscreants near the kitchen market at Sobhanibazar around 6pm on December 4.
Masum violated her in front of the children inside
the microbus. Later around 11am, the mother and the sons were freed from their captivity inside the microbus. The miscreants fled the scene leaving the devastated mother and sons in front of the Osmani Shishu Park.
The violated woman was admitted to Osmani Medical College Hospital for treatment.
On Monday, she filed a case with Kotoali Police Station against the six miscreants including Masum in connection with the incident.
