The State Corporation has started vaccinating workers employed in Rosatom’s Engineering Branch’s overseas construction project to prevent corona virus infection. Workers at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant in Bangladesh got vaccin as the first batch of Sputnik-5. The day before the vaccination, a team of medical staff from the Federal Medical and Biological Agency arrived in Bangladesh.
A total of 1000 vaccines have been provided to the Rooppur nuclear power plant. On the first day, 600 representatives from JSC ASE branch offices and other subsidiary construction companies (Trest Rosem, Nikim Atomostroy, Energospetmanthaj) applied for the vaccine. Alexi Dairy, Vice President, JSC SE and Director, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Construction Project, said, “As part of the health care culture, JSC SE is taking health care very seriously for its employees.”
