Assistant Commissioner (Land ) of Cox’s Bazar Chakaria Upazila Khandaker Md. Ikhtiar Uddin Arafat allegedly misbehaved and tortured senior journalist BM Habib Ullah recently .
A joint meeting of working journalists protested the incident at a meeting at Chakaria Dhansiri Convention held on May 14.
The meeting was chaired by senior journalist and coordinator of Joint Organization Zak Ullah Chakori. Chakaria Press Club President Abdul Majid, Bashir Al Mamun (Humanitarian / The Crime), Mizbaul Huq (Bhorer Paper / Chittagong Manch ) and Daily Cox’s Bazar addressed the meeting,

He said, even you come here for collecting news , I will conduct mobile court as Executive Magistrate .
