Indian deaf cricket team got off to a winning start in the Deaf Asia Cup T20 Cricket Championship winning both their opening day’s matches held on Tuesday at City Club ground at Mirpur.
In the day’s first matches, India posted an overwhelming nine wickets victory over their arch-rival Pakistan then defeated host Bangladesh in their second match.
Bangladesh will play their next match against Pakistan tomorrow (Wednesday) at the same venue.
Earlier, Nayeem Razzak MP, member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Youth and Sports Ministry and Jewel Areng, member of Parliamentary Standing Committee Health and Family Welfare Ministry formally inaugurated the championship as chief guests.
