Bangladesh Ansar and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) won their respective men’s division matches of the Independence Cup Handball competition held on Monday at the Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.
In the day’s matches, Bangladesh Ansar beat Quantam Sportiam by 39-15 goals after leading the first half by 20-7 goals while BGB defeated Bangladesh Police by 34-21 goals after dominating the first half by 19-11 goals.
In the day’s women’s division match held at the same venue, Bangladesh Ansar also maintained their supremacy beating Bangladesh Police by 24-10 goals.
