A man was murdered allegedly by his wife at Dewanpur village in Mirsharai Upazila on early Tuesday over family feud.
The deceased was identified as Sonatan Mazumder Prokash Sanak, 45, son of Bhabranjan.
Md Iftekhar Uddin, officer-in-charge of Jorarganj Police Station, said Sonaton’s wife Luky Mazumder hit him on his head with a piece of wood and slaughtered him with a sharp weapon around 1am.
On information, police recovered the body in the morning and arrested Luky.
