A wife in a Jhenaidah court had confessed the plot of killing her husband following an illicit relation with a young man in the village. Shahnaj Parvin of village Nijputia in Jhenaidah Sadar upazila on Monday afternoon in the court of Judicial Magistrate Qazi Ashrafuzzaman said, that she had designed the plot to kill her husband.
The rapid action battalion (RAB) sources said, the police in the noon of Sunday had recovered the body of a farmer Mahidul Islam from a filed in the village. He was noosed to death. The police sent the body to Jhenaidah Sadar hospital morgue for post mortem examination.
