Widow wants Saudi embassy’s help to get insured money

A widow has sought intervention of Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Dhaka to get her deceased husband’s insured money from a Saudi insurance company.
The woman namely Sahina Yasmin from Char Boga village under Raypur upazila in Lakshmipur district in an application to Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador in Dhaka Abdullah H. M. Al-Mutairi mentioned that her husband Omar Faruk died in Saudi Arabia on April 10 in 2001 in a road accident. He has an account in an insurance company named General Orzation for Social Insurance (GOSI).
After his death, the GOSI sent several letters to Faruk’s family, seeking essential papers. The family provided all required papers in this regard. But, they did not get the insured money even after passing of more than 14 years. Sahina Yasmin urged the Saudi Ambassador to take initiative in this regard to get insured money, as she is passing days miserably along with three orphan children.
