Once Rafiath Rashid Mithila was popular actress and model among the viewers of Bangladesh but now she is also well-liked in two Bengals. Due to maintaining her family the actress has to stay in Kolkata most of the time round the year. This time she came to Bangladesh for a long time visit.
While talking in this regard, Mithila said this time she will stay in country for a long time due to take part in shooting of a movie and to do some official works here. After returns, Mithila has already taken part in shooting of Giasuddin Selim directorial movie Kajol Rekha in Durgapur, Netrakona. She is playing the role of Kankan Dashi in this movie. Therefore, she has some official works. Mithila is doing job with BRAC. After completing some works of this organisation in Dhaka, next week the actress will fly to Tanzania and Kenya for an official visit there from BRAC. She will stay these two countries for one month. After return from these two countries, she will go to USA where her acted movie Maya, directed by Rajorshi Dey will be screened at Bongo Sammilan in USA.
Today is the birthday of Mithila. While talking about acting in movie Kajol Rekha, her conjugal life, not to stay in country properly and also not to give proper times to her parents and siblings, Mithila told this correspondent, “From many days ago, I have been thinking myself as a ‘global citizen.’ For this reason, I have to stay abroad for official purposes for a certain time. And now I have a family in Kolkata, so I have to stay there for the maximum time. For this reason, I cannot give proper times to my parents and siblings in Dhaka like previous times. But my daughter is always with me. Now she is studying Kolkata’s school. Now I have no excitement to celebrate my birthday during my childhood times. Now I can pass the day somehow. Currently I am on the set of Kajol Rekha, so I have no specific plan to celebrate my birthday today. It is my first work under Selim Bhai’s direction. On the set, Selim Bhai gives me instruction nicely, so I can do acting properly in this movie. I can portray my role in the movie satisfactorily. But the role of Kankan Dashi is absolutely exceptional. I am optimistic about this movie.”
Mithila has been working as Head of Early Childhood Development department at BRAC for many days. She has completed shooting of her two movies in Kolkata. These are: Rajorshi Dey’s Maya and Arunabh Khasnobish’s Nitisastra, said the actress.
