-M Mizanur Rahman
How beautiful sea is at pleasure
but I am crying by its shore.
How the billowing waves could know
that I kept the fire of my heart hidden abreast?
I have dived deep under water.
But why do you make me puzzled about your depth?
Why do you make me crying by the seashore?
Who made the moon sunk?
But a moon made me sunk
taking away everything of mine
and hidden in the illusion of its flood of light.
I have put my desires on the funeral pyre
and I shall set them on fire.
Hence who would put that off-
Who would put that off?
Why do you make me crying by the seashore?
How beautiful sea is at pleasure!
