Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who has come on board as a judge on singing reality show Indian Idol Junior, says she wanted to polish
her crooning skills but the ‘desire stagnated’ in
childhood itself.
“My music teacher taught me Sa re ga ma pa, but did not return after that and that is where my desire to sing stagnated,” Sonakshi said at the launch of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol Junior, which will beam starting May 30.
When Sonakshi shared this desire, the show’s
co-judge Vishal Dadlani promptly added, “She is a good singer. We are doing a film titled Akira where Sonakshi is the ‘hero.’ I promise you that she is going to sing in that film.”
The actress, who
delivered a memorable performance in Lootera, says she wanted to sing
in that movie.
