Every star in the movie industry carries a certain perception and this perception at certain times typecasts them. So much so, some actors are unable to get dissociated from it even after making extreme efforts.
This is even more so for someone whose acting skills are not extraordinary.
It does not mean that the person is not a good actor but certain persons are like that. A case in the point is Shakti Kapoor, Ranjit, Lalita Pawar, Bindu and a host of others.
Now if we talk of contemporary actors, actors like Gulshan Grover, Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana, Sunny Leone, et al. are the ones fitting the bill. This is even more true for glamourous actors. It really becomes difficult for a fan to contemplate an actor otherwise.
